Time to Play ‘Name That Park’
Richland has a new 117-acre park right along SR 240 out in the Horn Rapids area, and the Parks & Rec Commission wants the public to help choose a name for the park. How fun.

Names on the ballot include:
- Rattlesnake Mountain Sports Complex
- Rattlesnake Mountain Community Park
- Atomic Sports Complex (my favorite!)
- Atomic Community Park
- Hanford Legacy Sports Complex
- Hanford Legacy Community Park
Visit the city’s web site for voting information. You can also vote in person at the community center or by leaving a message at 942-7533. The deadline for voting is February 1st.
The PRC will announce the name at its February 12th meeting.
