Tea Party Day coming to Richland
You know that April 15 is tax day, but did you also know it’s National TEA Party Day? It is, and it’s coming to Richland, too.
The “TEA” in Tea Party Day stands for Taxed Enough Already, and the Richland event is part of a national series of protests on the day our taxes are due. Attendees are encouraged to bring a cell phone to call Congress and the White House to let them know how you feel you’ve been Taxed Enough Already.
There’s a national web site for Tea Party Day, which says there are currently just under 2,000 cities participating.
If you’re interested, the Richland event will take place from 4 to 6 pm at John Dam Plaza.
[where: John Dam Plaza, 802 George Washington Way, Richland, WA, 99353]
