Richland Honors Audrey Ulrich at Badger Mtn. Dog Park
The city of Richland has installed a big rock sign at the Badger Mountain Dog Park in honor of the late Audrey Ulrich, who was tireless in her efforts to get the temporary dog park located there and to get the city to commit to expanding it at a permanent location nearby. Here’s a photo that Dave Bryant from the city’s Parks & Rec Dept. sent us:
Dave tells us that the sign cost the city about $4,250 and it’ll be relocated to the permanent dog park when that’s built.
It’s been a while since we’ve taken Sparky to the dog park, but with the weather looking nice this week and next, we may be able to head out there sooner rather than later.
