picture-11The First Tee is a neat program that teaches kids the values of good sportsmanship, values, character development, and life skills through the game of golf. It has chapters all over the country … and there’s a chapter right here in the Mid-Columbia.

That local chapter is having a groundbreaking ceremony for its new youth practice facility at Columbia Point Golf Course in Richland. The event will start at 11 a.m., and the facility should be complete next month.
