The City of Richland has announced its office hours for the holidays, which includes trash collection plans you’ll want to keep in mind. Here’s what you need to know:

City offices and facilities, including city hall, library, community center, development services center and landfill, will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 24 and 25, and on Thursday, Jan. 1.

The library will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 23 and Dec. 31.

Richland’s regular Thursday garbage collections will occur on Friday, Dec. 26, rather than on Christmas Day, and regular Friday collections will occur on Saturday, Dec. 27. Crews will collect garbage on the regular Thursday and Friday schedules on Jan. 1 and 2.

All emergency services will be available.
