Richland Circuit City = A Zoo
by Matt McGee on January 17th, 2009. Filed under: Richland Business.I got to the Circuit City in Richland at around 11:45 am today and it was a zoo. There were cars parked in the open field behind the store, traffic jams trying to get in and out of the main parking lot, and as many people in the store as I’ve ever seen — and that includes on Christmas Eve!
But sadly, the deals weren’t all that great – not yet. Almost everything in the store was 10% off, with CDs/DVDs at 20% off, and cables at 30% off. (Cables, by the way, are probably the most overpriced things in any electronics store. The HDMI cables they sell for $50 probably cost the store about $6-$8.)
The McGee family has its eyes on a certain new TV, but the 10% discount on it wasn’t enough bait. If they still have it in stock when the discount drops to 20%, it’ll be a lot harder to pass it up.
Here are a few more photos….
