Richland Businesses Opening (and Closing)

Good news and bad news on the Richland business front:

  • Entrees Made Easy, which closed just two months ago, will re-open on June 25 with new ownership. The meal preparation service will be located in the same place as before: 127 Gage Blvd. in Richland. (This is the good news.)
  • Roy’s Western Smorgy, a longtime Richland establishment on the north end of Columbia Center Blvd., shut its doors earlier this month because of declining sales. (That’s the bad news.)
  • Orion Network Solutions has moved its software development department to Fowler Street in Richland. The company creates web-based software applications. They’re headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.
  • Kennewick General Hospital has opened a new clinic in Richland — it’s on Keene Rd., just off Gage Blvd. The clinic can treat minor injuries and illnesses — they hope it lessens the load in emergency rooms.
