Here’s a look at what’s been going on in the Richland business scene:

• Groovy Tuesdays, a thrift store that benefits the Academy of Children’s Theatre, is now open at 248 Williams Blvd. in the Uptown Shopping Center. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and also has a room that can be used for kids’ birthday parties.
• Milania House of Style will open a retail clothing store in the new Cadwell Dental building on Keene Rd. The building isn’t open yet, but should be open before year’s end.
• Monkey Dooz, a children’s salon (where my daughter gets her hair cut and loves it!), is now under the ownership of Alissa Wolbach and Betsy Peterson. The salon is located on Aaron Drive near Wellsian Way.
• HAPO has rescheduled a ribbon-cutting cermeony for its newest branch in Richland, and it will now take place on November 17th at 11:30 a.m. The branch will be located at 2952 George Washington Way.
• Better Body Fitness on Jadwin Avenue has gone out of business.
