McMurray Park Community Gardens Dedication This Week
There’ll be a nice crowd of people at McMurray Park in Richland this Wednesday morning. They’ll be there for the dedication of the new community gardens starting at 11:30 am.
I don’t think we’ve posted much (if anything) about the community gardens idea. McMurray Park is the first of what the city hopes will be several Richland locations that offer community garden space to local residents who want to garden, but don’t have their own space/land to use. Individuals or groups can reserve a spot in the community garden for just $5 to $20 for the whole season. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
