Live at Five Concert Series
The Live at Five Concert Series is back for 2010 with a great schedule of free concerts. They happen every Thursday at 5:00 pm and usually run until about 9:00 pm. This year’s concert series begins on May 20th and continues until July 15th. In addition to the live music, there are food and beverage booths, a beer and wine garden, local vendors, a kids area that has a bounce house and other fun stuff, Big Top the clown, a pirate, and much more. For the 5th year in a row, the city of Richland will be presenting a series of concerts at John Dam Plaza this spring. They call it Live at Five (because each concert starts at 5 pm) and it happens every Thursday night from May 15th through June 19th. Here’s the scheduled list of performers for 2008:
May 15: The Jim Basnight Band (Seattle pop/rock act)
May 22: The Perones – variety
May 29: Sattelite – newer music and classic rock
June 5: Nuketown – country hits
June 12: Blynd Spot – hits from the 60′s to today
June 19: Cronkites – variety
This happens in front of the federal building, and on top of the music there’ll be food and beverages available for purchase, and stuff to keep the kids busy, too. And … it’s FREE. Gotta like that.
