Well, not all of Gare Road, but some of it — and an important part of it, too. Starting today, and continuing for a full week, Gage Road is closed between Leslie Road and Penny Royal Avenue.

The closure will be in place until next Monday, August 24. The highly-trafficked Gage/Leslie intersection is still open, except for people heading westbound on Gage.

This is a huge inconvenience, esp. for all the traffic that heads out (or comes in) via the Keene Road corridor. But, at the same time, this section of Gage Rd. is in terrible condition and desperately needs the repaving that it’s getting.
